TECHNICAL SEMINARS IN GENERAL
In addition to the customer-specific classroom training, the LOESCHE Center for
Technical Training & Documentation has developed in 2011 so-called open
‘Technical Seminars’, that are offered and carried out once per year since then.
The Technical Seminars, that the LOESCHE Training Center carries out worldwide in cooperation with LOESCHE subsidiaries, are so-called ‘open seminars’. This means, everyone can register and take part after accepting the conditions of participation and paying a seminar fee. The seminars are aimed primarily at customers and suppliers of the cement industry and encourage the knowledge transfer - the focus is on the exchange of expert knowledge and above all practical experiences.
The maximum number of participants is restricted to 50 persons per seminar to guarantee a high degree of interaction and an intensive exchange of knowledge. Detailed seminar documents enable the participants to follow the lectures and take notes. These documents serve as source of reference subsequent to the seminar.
Every year, the Training Center also invites independent lecturers from science, research, and other sectors of the industry. This guarantees objectivity and a broader range of issues.
In addition to the classical lectures, the Training Center attaches great importance to modern, didactically useful methods of interaction. One already very popular part of the seminars is almost a tradition now, the so-called ‘World Café’. It includes moderated, interactive short workshops, in which experts invite all participants to informal discussions in a casual atmosphere with coffee and cake (therefore the name ‘World Café’). These ‘World Café’ tables are always sociable rounds of talks, where everybody discusses a lot, makes new contacts and exchanges experiences intensively.
A cultural accompanying programme in the seminar evenings completes the agenda and enables an enjoyable, uncomplicated exchange between presenters and participants at eye level.
Das erste LOESCHE Technical Seminar fand 2011 in Moskau statt. Seitdem wurden diesen Seminare mit Schwerpunkt auf Wissenstransfer in folgenden Städten durchgeführt:
- Duesseldorf, Germany
- Hanoi, Vietnam
- Lima, Peru
- Miami, U.S.A
- Dubai, U.A.E.
- Las Vegas U.S.A.
Aufgrund der weltweiten COVID-19 Pandemie konnte das letzte Seminar in Präsenz im November 2019 durchgeführt werden. Sobald es die Pandemiesituation erlaubt, werden weitere Seminare in Präsenzform organisiert.
