LOESCHE extends successful cooperation with Ramco Cements by delivery of clinker slag grinding plant

Kalvatala, India – LOESCHE, a leading global supplier of grinding and processing technologies, is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded a contract by The Ramco Cements Limited, one of the most important cement producers in India with a dominant presence in South and East India, for the delivery of a clinker slag grinding plant for the Kalvatala cement plant in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The heart of this plant is a LOESCHE vertical roller mill with a capacity  of  260 tons  per  hour  (OPC).  In  addition  to  the LOESCHE mill, the scope of supply for this project includes a dynamic classifier type LDC, Pronamic® grinding parts, a rotary feeder and further equipment.

Ramco  Cements  has  already  relied  on  LOESCHE  mill technology for many years. The flexibility that the LOESCHE vertical roller mill offers, meets Ramco Cements motto of “Right product for right application”. Consequently, the intention is to produce various types of products from this plant.

The decisive factor for the award of the contract to LOESCHE was not only the very good experience from previous projects, but also the interchangeability of important components with other  grinding  plants delivered  by  LOESCHE  to  Ramco Cements in the past.

This additional grinding plant makes Kalvatala, one of Ramco’s key  facilities,  increasing  the  company’s  overall  production capacity significantly.

Both LOESCHE Germany and the Indian subsidiary LOESCHE India Private Limited are delighted to continue the successful cooperation with The Ramco Cements Limited.

Delivery of the new grinding plant for Kalvatala is planned for the second half of this year, so that the commissioning of the plant can start in December 2026.
