The Ramco Cement Limited (RCL), India, is again relying on well-proven LOESCHE mills for three of its cement plants for the grinding of clinker and/or slag. For each cement plant, one vertical roller mill type LM 41.2+2 CS with two grinding rollers and two support rollers with a power range of 3000 kW and a capacity of 130 t/h has been ordered to grind the Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC).

We can hardly keep up with demand, because LOESCHE has already sold more than 400 clinker and slag mills worldwide. The most recent CS mills - 2x LM 53.3+3 CS - were sold to the Pakistani cement manufacturer, Kohat Cement Company Limited. The plant is expected to produce 210 t/h of portland cement at a fineness of 9% R 45 µm.
Farooqia – LOESCHE has now sold four mills comprising one raw mill, one coal mill and two clinker mills to Pakistan. Bestway Cement Company want to use these to modernize their Farooqia cement plant in the Punjab province, 40 km north of the capital, Rawalpindi. One high-performance 4-roller mill VRM with a capacity of 450 t/h is to be used there for the grinding of cement raw material to a fineness of 12 % with sieving residue of R 90 μm. Two further LOESCHE mills from the middle-performance range and a throughput of 170 t/h will serve for the subsequent grinding of cement clinker to a fineness of 3,200 Blaine. One more large vertical roller mill in modular construction with a capacity of 40 t/h will be used in the grinding of coal to a fineness of 10 % and R 90 μm sieving residue.
Lagunas/Hidalgo – LOESCHE has now sold two of its biggest coal / petcoke grinding mills for the cement industry in Mexico. These are to be used in the cement plants of the group Cooperativa La Cruz Azul, S.C.L. – on the one hand in the plant in the province of Hidalgo, 80 km north of Mexico City, and on the other in the Lagunas plant in the province of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. In each of these cases, the Cruz Azul group is establishing a new production line here.
Obajana – LOESCHE is contributing to the new cement production line of the Dangote Cement plant in Obajana in Kogi State, Northern Nigeria with the delivery of two vertical roller mills (VRM).
Jawaharpur – In one fell swoop, LOESCHE has sold 32 coal mills to India and gained a new end customer in the process. The large vertical roller mills (VRM), with two rollers each and a performance of 79.2 t/h or 75.6 t/h, will be used in the coal-fired power plants "Super Thermal Power Station" in Jawaharpur and "Obra-C" in the Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh state in North India.

Grinding of cement clinker in vertical roller mills is a technology introduced by LOESCHE which was first used in 1935.
LOESCHE has won an order from Penna Cement Industries Limited, India. The vertical roller mill is to be used at the cement plant in Boyareddypalli (in the state of Andhra Pradesh), around 200 km north of Bangalore.
LOESCHE has managed to gain a new customer in Nepal, namely the cement division of the Chaudhary Group based in Kathmandu. The subsidiary of the conglomerate placed an order for a vertical roller mill for coal grinding for its cement plant in the Palpa region.
LOESCHE is involved in the new construction of a large cement plant in Egypt with three vertical roller mills. The end customer is the Egyptian Cement for Cement Projects Management S.A.E.
